A custom smartphone case, “Oshicomi-case*”, is now available to decorate your fave in a cute way.

We actually purchased this product to customize our faves. Please check out the report on our struggle to make our faves even cuter!

*Coined from Oshi, which means “fave” in Japanese, and Oshicomi, which means “to push in”.

This newly released product is a smartphone case that can be freely customized with your faves.

The product is available in three colors: clear, black, and white, and the lineup includes three compatible models: iPhone SE (2nd generation), iPhone 6, and iPhone 7.

The thickness of the case is approximately 3mm! It can be customized with thick items such as your favorite acrylic stand as well as cheki and trading cards.

We actually tried to use Oshicomi-case! [Report]

Products received

We heard that a phone case that allows us to customize our faves was now available… We also bought one actually!

We chose clear because we thought it would look nice with dried flowers.

Also, we purchased it from Amazon, but it was frequently out of stock, and we checked every day to see if it was back in stock… and finally we could get it.

This time, we purchased items for customizing at 100-yen stores (Daiso and Seria)!

In order to make our faves prettier…we ended up buying too many (Oops).

In addition, we also used scissors and masking tape (for fixing and gluing), so please prepare them as well.

Structure of Oshicomi-case

The most distinctive feature of this product is the thickness of the case!

With a thickness of approximately 3mm, it can easily accommodate even an acrylic keychain or an acrylic stand.

The case has two layers, the upper layer is made of a soft material and the lower layer is made of a hard material.

Therefore, by inserting your finger into the upper layer and peeling it off softly… then they are now in a customize form.

Introduction of faves to be put into Oshicomi-case

This time, we are going to customize a Yuma Kuga acrylic keychain that was released during the collaboration between the TV anime World Trigger and Tsutenkaku Tower, and a card from the Washagana TV character gum collection.

Since Christmas is coming soon, we chose the cards from the Christmas episode of Washagana TV!

(It was very hard to remove the keychain part of the acrylic keychain, so please prepare pliers or something…)

World Trigger Yuma Kuga version

For Yuma Kuga’s customization, we laid Hologram figured paper on the background to give it a sci-fi feel.

If we mark the outside of the case as a standard, it will inevitably be one size larger… So we had no choice but to attack it gradually and incrementally (this is where it took the longest time…).

Once the background is cut out, firmly attach it to the lower layer with masking tape or others.

Once the background is complete, all that remains is to customize it to your liking!

For this project, we placed dried flowers in World Trigger-like colors and scattered beads mix! (Of the beads mix, the spherical ones could not be included)

Lift up the lower layer and fit the case into the upper layer… done!

Nahhhhhhhhhhh, how cute it is… (self-praise) (No, first of all, my fave is cute)

I dared to arrange it so that the beads inside moved, but it’s so cute…!

The beads mix from Daiso is available in a wide variety of colors, so it’s perfect for customizing your own faves!

Wasyagana TV version

Since I want to customize Washagana TV to Christmas specifications, I will use holiday-inspired masking tape as a background.

I am now… trying to cut the base part of the glitter stickers and scatter them like flake stickers.

Cut the leaf part of the mini bouquet of preserved flowers into smaller pieces to create a fir tree feel.

I decorated it like a Christmas tree ornament with charm parts (Leaf) and scattered glitter stickers (star) all over it, but… it looks a little too much…

Gee, it’s glaring!!!!!

My love for Washagana TV was so strong that I ended up with a flashy and glaring finish…

Soaring the thickness of about 3mm, it tempts us to put all sorts of things into it, but it might be better to use customizable items in moderation to make it look prettier (lesson learned).
