This year marks the 30th anniversary of the TV anime broadcast of Nintama Rantaro and we are pleased to announce the results of the popular character survey!
This time, we present the top 10 results in a ranking format.

No. 10: Heisuke Kukuchi
Heisuke Kukuchi is a fifth-year student of Ninjutsu Academy (school for budding ninjas) and belongs to the Explosives Committee.
He is voiced by Toshimitsu Oda.
His favorite food is tofu, and he is an expert on tofu.
No. 9: Rantaro Inadera
Rantaro Inadera is a first-year student at Ninjutsu Academy and is a member of the Health Committee.
He is voiced by Minami Takayama.
He wears glasses because of his severe astigmatism, and he is fast and can run 100 meters in 10 seconds.

Rikichi Yamada is the son of Yamada Sensei and is a freelance successful ninja.

Tomesaburo Kema is a sixth-year student at Ninjutsu Academy and the head of the Equipment Committee.
He is voiced by Chihiro Suzuki.
He is a rival of Monjiro Shioe, who is “the best ninja of the school”, and they fight all the time.

Hansuke Doi is the subject teacher for the Igumi class at Ninjutsu Academy.
He is voiced by Toshihiko Seki.
He is also an advisor to the Explosives Committee and is well versed in gunpowder and military techniques, but he is not fond of kneaded foods such as kamaboko and chikuwa.
No. 2: Kirimaru Settsuno
Kirimaru Settsuno is a first-year student at Ninjutsu Academy and a member of the Library Committee.
He is voiced by Mayumi Tanaka.
He loves coins so much that he can guess the type of money just by hearing the sound.

Isaku Zenpoji is a sixth-year student at Ninjutsu Academy and is the chairman of the Health Committee.

He is calm and caring, and is like an older brother of Nintamas.

The first place in the Nintama Rantaro popular character ranking goes to Isaku Zenpoji, the head of the Health Committee in the Hagumi class of sixth year class!
The second place went to Kirimaru Settsuno, Hagumi class of first year class, and the third place went to Hansuke Doi, the subject teacher at Hagumi class of first year class.
Also, five of the top 10 students are upperclassmen, which shows the popularity of them.
