Kanta is Satsuki’s classmate. He is pure-hearted and shy.
He seems to be interested in Satsuki from the city, and is often chided by the teacher for gazing at her in class, or for lending Satsuki his umbrella while she was taking shelter from the rain, and then happily running home in the rain himself.

“Tombo” is his nickname, and his real name is Kopoli.
He has a cheerful and charming personality and has many friends in town, both male and female.

The protagonist of this film. He is 17 years old. He is one of the few young men of the Emishi tribe.
Educated to be the king of the Emishi village, which is said to be located between the east and the north, he is a boy who should be the head of his tribe, and has the grace to match.
He is taciturn, but has a strong sense of justice, and is also a man of integrity.
He shoots an arrow at the Tatarigami who is about to attack the village, and in exchange for taking his life, he is cursed with death.

The director of the Cat Office. With the setting that he is baron, he is a 30-centimeter tall, bipedal walking cat doll.
Dressed in a tuxedo and carrying a walking stick, he has an appearance reminiscent of an English gentleman, but his name is more like a German aristocrat.
His personality is always calm, collected, and gentlemanly, and according to Muta, he is pretentious.

He is a beautiful young wizard who is rumored in town to be able to “eat the hearts of beautiful women”.
He spends his time running away from unpleasant things by using various pseudonyms such as Jenkins and Pendragon, but he grows as a person through his life with Sophie and the other characters.

The winner of the “Ghibli Boys” character ranking is Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle!
The voice actor is Takuya Kimura, and despite his overwhelming good looks, he is attractive in that he is mentally immature. There is no one who would not be attracted to the way he desperately protects the heroine.
In second place, by a mere 9 votes, is Haku from Spirited Away.
The way he treats her coldly in front of everyone, but gently supports her when they are alone, is sure to make your heart pound. Many people must have been warmed by his thoughtfulness in making Onigiri (rice balls) for them.
In third place is Baron, who appears in The Cat Returns.
He is a handsome cat who helps the heroine Haru, who is swept away by the grateful emotions of the cats. With a body much smaller than a human’s, his gentlemanly behavior is wonderful as he does everything in his power to help Haru.
